Aww that's a cute idea! This is kinda how I imagined it being like for each bonten member with a very comforting reader!

Mikey- Will be very upfront with his demands. He doesn't ask for you to be around him often but when he does, he walks into the room and just tells you to follow him. Usually you end up being cuddled by him or cuddling him, he doesn't speak during it either, just quietly spends this time with you.

Sanzu- Usually he doesn't need to ask, you can tell by how he's acting when he needs a bit of comforting. He'll act out more often and pick fights with the other members. He likes laying on you best, either thighs or chest (he likes the sound of your heartbeat).

Kakucho- Is definitely the most embarrassed when it comes to asking, he will sometimes but still gets a little shy. He likes talking with you best, having someone he can vent to. Likes the way you stroke his arm while he's talking about difficult moments. 

Takeomi- Has no shame in asking you, normally beckons you over with a hand gesture. He likes it when you sit on his lap and light his cigarette for him, he makes him feel looked after and helps him to relax. 

Rindou- Laughs a bit nervously when you offer or when he asks. He likes both your hugs and head pats best, tries to not get excited when you open your arms for him. Something about those hugs are just so relaxing for him though, they usually last awhile too because he doesn't wanna let go.

Ran- Usually asks you by grabbing your hand and leading you away, simply saying it's his turn now. Likes it best when you play/ stroke his hair. He normally falls asleep on you while you're doing this too.

Koko- Another one who typically doesn't ask but you can normally tell when he needs it. He likes it when you massage him or slowly stroke around his back and neck best. Helps him to relax and makes him shiver. Makes him close his eyes for a few minutes which gets him away from work too.

Mochi- He just likes laying with you, either in a bed or on a sofa, cuddles you closely. You remind him of things that aren't so bleak, something easy to forget while in bonten. He likes it when you talk too, gives him different things to think about besides work and what he's seen that day.

Anyway. I don't remember if this has been written about before, but... Can we talk about Dottore's earring? The connection between segments? And fragile reader?

That little trinket is one of the mysteries surrounding our beloved Doctor. Is it just a fancy accessory? Perhaps. But then why do all of his segments wear one? At very least, the ones we've seen? I feel like it might have something to do with connection between them. Could it be a hive-mind device? Basically something that connects all the segments into one net so they can communicate telepathically? That would explain how Omega managed to delete all of the segments so easily.

But yes. Imagine if theory about it being a telepathy bond device. What if Prime gifts fragile reader one of those? So that when he's away on a mission or something, fragile reader could reach out to him! Almost like the two were having a phone call! (Since Teyvat doesn't have phones apart that strange dodoco ball thingy).

Or it could also be used for when the reader is too scared to speak their thoughts. Imagine Dottore holding them tightly in his embrace, his soothing voice whispering in the reader's head to just think what troubles them and use the telepathic bond to tell him. I just feel like Zandik would use this as a way to reassure the reader. Like, it's silence, but also not. Of course, many forehead kisses and headpats are included in this procedure.

YESSS DOTTORE'S EARRING... <3 I love that thing... :3 (Webttore and Dottore actually have two different designs of earrings so I love to hc that each segment's earrings are a little bit different, even though we see they're the same in-game 😭 Maybe it's a way to tell them apart from each other as well 💗 Alright moving on-)

Besides the signature masks of the segments, they are never seen without their earring, the mysterious blue liquid inside squishing around with their movements. What could it be? That is unknown, but the agents would prefer not to know considering it's the same color as that vial he always carries around. And the vial's contents are similarly unknown... no one wants to be the first one to try. Well, regardless of that, most would never guess the earring is used for the segments' communication with each other. Truly technology far more advanced than what the majority of Teyvat could ever dream off.

It was when you complained about how long letters took to be delivered back and forth that he realized a rather easy solution. The earring's communication device was no easy procedure, with the materials and skill, but for you? He got it done with ease. Obviously, you're elated! Though there are probably times you abuse your new privilege now. For example, even when he's not away, you'll call him. He'll think it is urgent, considering your health and all, but what did you call to tell him? That you love him, and are coming to give him lots of kisses and hugs and- he hung up on you.

It would also be quite cute if your earring could connect to various other earrings like the segments while they're away on expeditions as well... they have most definitely slacked off when you've called them. Them being in the middle of killing/threatening/general Dottore things but pausing to take their beloved's call while the guy watches them in fear and confusion.

Dottore using it as a way to comfort you though... 🥺 that is just so cute. Because sometimes it's too hard for you to verbalize all of your troubles and negative thoughts, and the words get stuck in your throat. Making it quite hard for the two of you to communicate with each other since you can't open yourself up like that. But now you can let out your feelings telepathically and your husband can know, and perhaps get a further reach into what your mind is like. The silence around you combined with Dottore's soothing voice is the perfect aid to make you feel better.

A couple! I tend to stick with the canon depictions of characters, so most of these are supported by canon in one way or another.

— About Lee Jihye/Athy in Korea: She practiced volleyball in high school (no reason why, I just like it), she likes to drink when her wallet allows it (my girl deserves to unwind after work), she is a nerd/weeb (@lithi reminded me of the anime references she made in the novel, i.e. wondering if she was like an anime waifu/figure to the royal wizards lmao, so it's kinda canon). Oh, and she had a potty mouth!

— Athy talks in korean when she is alone. It bothers Lucas that he can't understand her because he feels left out. Athy teaches him eventually, but only curse words.

— Lucas is touch-starved (he slept for at least a couple of centuries, and I can't imagine him being very touchy with his teacher when he was alive), so he loves when Athy initiates any kind of physical contact, no matter how small, though he is too prideful to ever admit it. He loves headpats the most (kinda canon).

— Athy borrows (steals) Lucas' wizard cloak.

— Athy figures out she can basically get Lucas to do anything with a kiss as a reward, she uses this knowledge for evil. Lucas ends up developing a pavlovian reaction to Athy asking for favors and gets upset when she doesn't ask anything of him for a couple of days.

— You know how when you mention liking X thing to your grandparent/dad, they'll gift you TONS of said thing for years? Lucas is the exact same with Athy (canon as well).

One morning, Athy wakes up to the sight of her room filled with crates and crates of strawberry jam.

Lucas (smug): This dating thing is so easy.

— Lucas was never afraid of Claude disapproving of him courting Athy. The person he truly feared was Lily. As he should.

— Lily and Seth give Lucas the shovel talk. Hannah chuckles nervously in the background because she knows they mean every word (Lily went against Claude multiple times without fear, Seth wanted to smash a vase against his head, of course they would give Lucas hell).

— Lucas acts as if he doesn't know how to knot a tie so Athy does it for him in the mornings. Strangely, he has started to wear ties a lot lately.

— Nox kicks Lucas out of the bed.

It’s a nice, peaceful day in the HoL. Everyone is in their respective rooms doing their own respective thing. Except for MC. MC is feeling a little touch starved and craves attention from their favorite demon older male figure. Whoever that may be. Plus they got the top score on the last test in their hardest class and they wanted to show someone they looked up to. So what do they do? They walk into said demons room, waltz right up to them and kinda just stand there for a minute. They’re awkward okay? Eventually tho, said brother acknowledges their presence

Lucifer:

“Yes? Is there something I can help you with MC?”

They nod and show him their test

Lucifer, of course, is very pleased with their score

Obviously he knows that they’re smart but the exchange students getting good grades is always good for the program

Plus he knows that they have been struggling with that class all year

They must have taken his advice and gotten some extra help

“Very good MC. How about we celebrate. What would you like to do?”

“I want a hug”

He doesn’t know why that surprises him

MC has always been one for physical affection

But of course he complies

When MC goes in for the hug, they don’t let go for a few minutes

Like he likes it and all but he gets super awkward and his body gets stiff and he starts overthinking, trying to make sure he doesn’t make it seem too obvious that he’s being awkward and kinda uncomfortable, which of course makes it more obvious, which is one reason why he doesn’t do hugs and stuff all that often

But they’re just so excited and he’s proud of them so he agrees

They give him a hug, a very awkward, stiff hug. But a hug none the less

.. it's not easy for him to confess to you. he plans it very carefully, he doesn't want to scare you. yes, he's nervous about it, but in the end, he realizes that he simply has to hope for the best. he can't control your reaction to his confession. when he actually does confess, it sounds like he wasn't worried about this at all and he does it perfectly, but trust me, this guy is actually really anxious.

trey is.. not a romance expert. he's very good at helping others with their feelings, but he doesn't know what to do with his own feelings for you. honestly, he just hopes they'll go away, so that they don't distract him that much and they don't make everything more difficult. but being in love with you also feels kinda nice?.. he most likely realizes that he's in love with you, when he finally sits down and thinks about it. everything starts making more sense to him and even though he'd love to use a "oh, i just really like them as friend" excuse, trey knows that it's not true. these feelings are definitely something more.

While he will treat you like a queen, if you fight back you will be punished. He doesn’t want to physically hurt his S/O, but he’s not below anything mentally. He will murder your loved ones right in front of you. All while saying things like “It’s you’re fault, I’m the only one who is allowed to love you”

But if your completely fine with being with him? (Don’t @ me I know there are some of you out there) He’s so happy! Expect cuddles everyday, they’re mandatory. He’s still possessive as all hell though. While he trusts you not to run away he does NOT trust others to not steal you away. No matter what you’re leaving the house for he’s coming with you. Taking out the trash? Wait for him. Getting grocery’s? Let him get his shoes. This leads to quote unquote dates a lot.

Pramanix looked over his shoulder and tutted. “They’re sending in their own files as filler now? And they expect you to pay for all this paper?”

“I’ve seen Gravel’s name at the top of these twelve times today, so it’s not just theirs.” He shook his head.

“I could go talk to them, if you want.” She ruffled his hair. “Red’s still watching the girls, and I feel like giving someone a little hell today.”

He smiled to himself as he turned to look at her, putting both hands around the closer of hers. “It’s fine, dear; I’ll just stop going through them right now, give my eyes a break. Since you’re free, though, couch?”

“Is that even a question?” Anya helped him up so they could flop onto the double-wide he’d gotten for the office exactly for moments like this.

“I hope they’re not too annoyed with how slow their job must be sometimes,” the Doctor continued once he was enveloped in pillowy Pramanix-ness. “Spending hours and hours doing busywork gets boring for me, so imagining a thankless job like theirs in the same state-”

The Savra jumped up and walked over to their desk. “Oh, that? Just make copies of old resumes and send them through the system. Rangers taught me that during training.”

“We can do that?” The Liberi’s ear-feathers started twitching. “You thinkin’ what I’m thinkin’, Utage?”

“Oh, I knooow I am!” She replied as she dashed over to the cabinet and started grabbing old files that were easy to copy.

Ethan chuckled as he went back to his desk. “Save me a couple of ‘em, too; still waiting to hear back from the guys we sent to talk to that travelling actor fella, could use a break.”

A few hours later, and the Doctor woke up to what looked like a power outage, but was in fact just being under a very snuggly Feline. “Still asleep, dear?” He asked, otherwise staying still.

“That’s alright, but I should probably check my messages.” He managed to slink out from under her without disturbing her too much, but it became a moot point once he saw his messages. “Holy shit! There’s over three hundred messages from HR here?!”

Pramanix sat up, rubbing her eyes. “All recruitment?”

“Yeah...and all repeats.” The Doctor groaned. “Even if we did get someone new, I’d never- wait. No, there is someone I don’t recognize on this list, wanting to come in for an interview in...ten minutes? We can do that, right, dear?”

“Ten minutes? Um, sure. Does the file say a codename, at least?”

He nodded. “Someone named ‘Mint?’ Huh...apparently she’s from King’s Wand. I guess we’ll see her soo- that’s it, I’m going to go talk to them. This is way too much.”

Meanwhile, at the HR office:

“What do you mean, you broke the messaging system?!” Orchid was pulling out feathers and hair at her office, which was attached to but technically different from the rest of HR. “How many duplicates did you send?”

“Well, we sent like nine or ten, but then Eyjafjalla found out about what we were doing and offered to make it more efficient by making a program for us...and then Ethan and Provence made it more efficient...It’s sending recruitment notices so fast we can’t actually stop it without shutting down the whole network.” Aciddrop and Utage were standing sheepishly on the other side of the desk, feeling rather foolish as the instigators of what was now essentially a system-breaking insider hack.

The Liberi in charge just shook her head. “This is ridiculous...I’ll shut it down for the day, and if we manage to get in touch with any of our current options, I’ll just fax their records to his office.”

“*Knock knock* Miss Orchid?” Eyjafjalla popped her head through the door. “Senpai’s here to talk to you.”

“Tell him we’re working on getting it shut down, please, Eyja.”

The Doctor popped his head through the door, too. “Shutting what down?”

“The auto-messager your kouhai installed in our system to help these two with their prank.” Orchid gestured to the other Liberi and the Nue.

“Ah. Good job applying your problem-solving skills, Eyja.” He gave her a couple headpats before smiling at the rest of them. “If you guys can, I’d try seeing if you can automate the whole thing like that, and I’ll just set filters on my notifications.”

All three of them looked at him for a moment before Aciddrop spoke up. “You’re not mad?”

“Nah. Got to cuddle the wife thanks to it, after all. You girls keep up the good work.” And with that, he was gone.

“That was...not how I expected that to go,” Utage admitted as Eyja walked into the office properly. “How the hell did we luck out like that?”

It’s being soft for Su-Jin hours

Taking him to the park, pushing him on the swings. Getting ice cream. Picking him up and twirling him around (if he is okay with that, we always ask the baby first). Watching a Disney movie from a blanket fort. Giving him a lil forehead kissy and a headpat.

Those are all great ideas. Su-Jin likes the affection when it comes from the people that he’s close to and that he knows that he can trust. Doing little things like that is always a treat for him because he’s only been able to experience the things that other kids can do through his imagination before... and there’s a lot of things that he never even knew that kids could do that he only learns about if you tell him or show him. 

He’d enjoy the park, for sure. He’s always looking at the sky, so you need to hold his hand so he doesn’t trip or walk into anything. His grip on your hand can be a little bit tight, whether he means to or not because it’s overwhelming to be out of the house sometimes. All of that freedom never came easy for him.
